Senior Pastors - Eric and Lynda Hoerger  Pastor Eric was raised in a home that practiced Christian Science and dabbled himself in Mormonism until the age
of 13 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His wife Lynda was raised in a Christian home, but in many ways
didn't understand how to have a personal walk with the Lord. Both attended Biola University where they met and developed a
friendship. They each knew they had the call of God on their lives and after being friends for quite awhile, got engaged and
then married in 1971. Both graduated from Biola with B.A.'s in Christian Education and Eric went on to attend and graduate
from California Graduate School of Theology where he earned a masters in Church Administration. Eric and Lyn recieved the
baptism of the Holy Spirit while attending a Jack Hayford conference. This was significant because both had been taught against
the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Soon afterward, Eric and Lyn became the pastors of Green Valley Lake Comunity Church in the
mountains of Southern California. After a few years, Pastor Eric took a leave of absence to attend Rhema Bible Institute and
resumed his roll as pastor after completing his studies. Soon afterward, God lead Pastor Eric to start a new church called
Believer's Chapel in Big Bear Lake and they've been here ever since! Both Eric and Lyn have been in full time ministry for
over 40 years and have two wonderful children that serve in other ministries in Southern California as well as having eight
(soon to be nine) beautiful grandchildren. Head Elders - Glenn and Frakie Adkins Formerly the pastors of both Topanga Community Church and Fawnskin Community Church, Glenn and Frankie Adkins
decided to merge their church with Believer's Chapel in 1996 so that Glenn could focus more on his favorite kind of ministry:
evangelism. Since 1973, Glen has been ministering on the streets of Hollywood and ministers in the Village in downtown Big
Bear Lake every weekend. He and Frankie just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November 2011 and they have five
children, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Along with being head elders in Believer's Chapel, Glenn and Frankie
also sit on the advisory board and have their own evangelism ministry called The Lord's Trumpet. Youth
Pastors - Rob and Autumn Washburn Rob and Autumn have been the Youth Pastor's at Believer's Chapel for over ten years. Both have a heart to
reach out to the broken and hurting youth of the valley and often have teenagers in their youth group that may not be welcomed
at other churches. Along with youth pastoring, they also own and operate their own business and have three beautiful children.
