Pantry
The Believer's Chapel pantry is used for those in need in the community who are without food. We fed between 300-400
people per month in 2005 with 3-4 days worth of food. Since that time, we
have picked up seniors (55 & older), and now are feeding over 1700 people each month in 2008. We give out food on Thursdays from 12 noon to 3pm. Our stats show that we will have fed over 20,000
people for all of 2008. Anybody in the Valley is allowed to receive help up
to six times a year.
We are not government funded, and therefore are dependent upon organizations, churches, restaurants,
and people who donate cash or food. We want to thank these organizations and businesses: Big Bear Valley Real Estate; Vons
Market; the Senior Center of Bear Valley; the Kiwanis Club of Big Bear; the First Baptist Church of Big Bear; the Presbyterian
Church; Starbucks; the Teddy Bear Restaurant, and the many individuals who make it possible. It is your generous donations
